He ruled Mithila by following Sanatan Dharma. Ashtavakra Gita is a dialogue between the king and his Guru Sage Ashtavakra. The dialogue covered advanced advaita vedanta principles and practices. Their conversation is our education. The dialogue consists of twenty chapters and 298 Sanskrit slokas (verses). This Gita powerfully expresses the non-dualistic (Advaita) philosophy of knowing and realising who you are and in that process helps one in cutting off the shackles and barriers to such realization.Blessed are those who venture into the study of Ashtavakra Gita.
