Bol Joshua Bellamy and his intrepid crew are renowned hunters of urban legends and conspiracies. But when Count Bathory from Romania approaches him with an offer he can't pass up, they find themselves in a hunt like never before-searching for a tomb sealed for over one thousand years, a tomb said to imprison an evil so potent that its release could signal the end of humanity. Hannah Bowman tells Joshua of how Radu, an ancient and deadly vampire, was bound by The Watchers, a clan of warriors created by a powerful sorcerer. Only The Watchers possessed the strength to bind Radu and seal him inside a tomb fashioned from solid lead- and they stand guard to this day, ensuring no one unearths their captive.
