The megalithic BISoft corporation's Vortex and Agent Integration team is beset by a puzzling chain of events. While planning the billion user Home System's deployment into an Air Gap cloud, a security breach raises concerns of more going on than meets the eye. While the team struggles to find the root cause, their leaders spin events into business as usual, promise no surprises, and reassure users the service is both predictable and reliable. Their product, however, has something else in mind.
