Arti?cial Immune Systems have come of age. The International Conference on Arti?cial Immune Systems is proud to be the premiere conference in the area. ICARIS 2004 was the third international conference dedicated entirely to the ?eld of Arti?cial Immune Systems (AIS). This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the Third International Conference on Artificial Immune Systems, ICARIS 2004, held in Catania, Sicily, Italy, in September 2004.The 34 revised full papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from 58 submissions.
