In Arabic in Israel, the interplay of language and identity in conflict situations is examined. In Arabic in Israel, Muhammad Amara analyses the status of Arabic following the creation of the State of Israel and documents its impact on the individual and collective identity of Israel’s Palestinian Arab citizens.
