The author is a licensed mental health professional, working with individuals deeply struggling with anxiety, grief, chronic pain, and other personal issues. The true story of Anxious Angus is based on a rescue pup, with the illustrations based on actual photos of Angus and his family. The story show others that whatever struggles we endure that may continue to be a part of us, it does not have to define who we are or what our future holds.
