Anthology 19: Basic Cultural and Religious Knowledge

Learners in the "diaspora" of distance learning find themselves holding study materials in their hands again after a long hiatus during a continuing education phase. Years after completing their initial training, materials and study guides are now on the table, ready to be worked through in a variety of ways. It is advantageous to have a foundation of knowledge and educational management skills that can be applied during a continuing education phase. Continuing education refers to learning processes aimed at maintaining current knowledge or acquiring additional knowledge. "Advanced training," on the other hand, refers to learning processes aimed at obtaining higher qualifications through advanced knowledge. However, the European Union gives preference to "continuing education" as an educational measure. The study is divided into Part I: Basic Religious Knowledge in Distance Learning; Part II: Basic Cultural Knowledge-Cultural Education in the Context of Political Education; and Part III: Protestant Adult Education as Concepts in the Context of Intercultural Competence.
