This technical project is part of an initiative to continuously improve industrial performance at BRALICO in Pointe-Noire, Republic of the Congo. It focuses on analyzing and optimizing the operation of BRALICO's K-123-626 filling machine, a key piece of equipment in the bottling process whose reliability and performance directly impact overall productivity and product quality. The study is driven by a high rate of corrective maintenance, which results in frequent unplanned downtime, losses of product, bottles, and energy, as well as a decline in yield. The primary objective is to reduce the frequency of corrective maintenance by identifying recurring failures and optimizing the preventive maintenance plan, in order to achieve the 80/20 rule (80% preventive maintenance versus 20% corrective maintenance) in accordance with industry best practices, using the Lean Six Sigma methodology.
