An unfinished song

This work is the result of a master's thesis in Education, defended at the Graduate Program of the University of Uberlândia-MG (Brazil), in the research area of Educational Knowledge and Practices. The research focused on the training of history teachers at the Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences, and Letters of Patos de Minas, FAFIPA, Minas Gerais, Brazil, an institution maintained by the Educational Foundation of Patos de Minas, from 1970 to 2001. The main objective was to record, understand, and analyze the constitution of the course, the changes that occurred during the period studied, the experiences of the teacher trainers, as well as the relationships between the knowledge gained during training and the practices of teachers trained at the institution.
