Bol This study presents an experimental investigation of a diesel engine fuelled with dual bio-diesel blends as an alternative to conventional diesel fuel. The increasing demand for energy resources and growing environmental concerns have encouraged researchers to explore renewable and eco-friendly fuels for internal combustion engines. In this work, dual bio-diesel blends prepared from two different vegetable oil sources were mixed with diesel in various proportions and tested in a single-cylinder compression ignition engine under different load conditions. The performance parameters such as brake thermal efficiency, brake specific fuel consumption, and exhaust gas temperature were evaluated along with emission characteristics including carbon monoxide (CO), hydrocarbons (HC), carbon dioxide (CO¿), and oxides of nitrogen (NOx). The experimental results indicated that the dual bio-diesel blends showed comparable engine performance to conventional diesel fuel. A slight reduction in brake thermal efficiency and a marginal increase in fuel consumption were observed due to the higher viscosity and lower calorific value of bio-diesel blends.
