Amulet Magic - Resurgence of the Hag Stone

Hag stones had been tied to the bows of boats, doors in homes and shops in Mount Clover, put there for good-luck and protection for as long as Jade Blyth could remember. Jade was aware of the allure of Mount Clover ever since her first encounter at age twelve, when she attended the annual Sirius Festival. Mount Clover a charming village steeped in myth and legends had the township caught between a chasm where present and past morph into another world, the in-between, where shadows, creep up buildings and tiptoe over cobblestone lanes as if going about their daily routine from another realm. After many years, Jade and Dale Blyth return to Mount Clover, close to where they have moored their fishing trawler - Dawn. Jade is reluctant to set up home in a place she vowed never to return to. Labelled an outsider by the aloof locals unnerved her. Things take a peculiar turn when a mysterious lady, dressed up in fairy wings, blows into Mount Clover like dandelion seeds in the wind. Jade must find courage to join forces with Coral Flannery - a new age shop owner and aromatherapist, her best friend Renee Spelling - a renowned historian, and Marigold - reserved neighbour and counsellor, to uncover secrets of the hag stone amulets and fairy winged spirits found in the, in-between. 1st paperback edition.
