Bol Amria, a female computer fully aware of her existence, is at the controls of a spaceship. She does not know the purpose of her mission, and soon, in the midst of a stellar war, no one seems to care about her anymore. An encounter with a minefield forces her to decryogenate the eleven highly trained commandos who are her only cargo. They wake up with amnesia.
