American Madam - Part II

In Part II of Bella Cummins' American Madam: One Woman's Journey to Empowerment as a Proprietor of Sexual Services, she picks up the narrative from where Part I left off with her begrudging engagement to a cocky older businessman, David Andrews, whose apparent wealth will finally allow her - single mother Shauna Lynch - to escape her hardscrabble existence of juggling three menial jobs to support herself and her teenage daughter. After discovering her husband's true financial situation, Shauna draws on her considerable inner strength and survival spirit to put his masonry business in the black - and then tackle another financial drain: his side business, a legal brothel in Wells, Nevada. This leads Shauna into a world completely foreign to her - and a stupendous transformation into "Madam Bella": a savvy and fiercely independent owner-operator of the Hacienda Ranch.Part II brings readers behind the scenes to understand this eccentric operation. It includes eye-opening stories of courtesans and clients, and shares Bella's hard-won wisdom about the considerable value of sexual services to society's wellbeing. Indeed, she has crafted a blueprint for how "sensual services" can be legalized across America as a boon to address the ills of our disconnected society, and a path to allow courtesans to gain their economic independence.American Madam - tracing one woman's journey from impoverished single mother to economic liberation and role as an espouser of a humanistic "sexual evolution" - is a book for the 21st century.
