Amar

This year I want to be different. Amar, short for Amaranth, moves to a new city and starts fresh at a high school she's never been to before. Freshman year she was a hardworking, shy and closed off girl. For sophomore year she sets her heart to get more involved with school, make new friends and maybe attend a dance or two. She doesn't want to just blend into the background anymore. She isn't looking to draw too much attention yet she meets, not one, but three of her year's most popular beauties. Who better to learn from than these girls who look like they walk on air? As the semester drags on she learns just how important it is to remain true to herself and to not let peer pressure overwhelm you. She is on her way to making this year the best year yet. She'll make cool new friends, get even better grades and maybe even fall in love for the first time. This is a coming of age story with a splash of romance that is sure to delight you.
