A chaotic comedy of high school courtship between an awkward girl and a dorky boy too dense to realize they are already in love with each other. Akira returns to the countryside for high school with a foolproof scheme to win the heart of her childhood crush, Hajime. Too bad they’re both fools in love! The aftermath of Akira and Hajime’s first (accidental) kiss kicks off a storm of self-recrimination, apologies, and denial. Will one or both of the would-be lovers ever reach the stage of acceptance? Then, Hajime joins the track-and-field team in hopes of winning tickets to an amusement park so he can invite Akira on a date, but his training sessions lead to jealousy. Finally, Hajime goes to Akira’s home for the first time and meets her mother. Will she approve of him…?
