Age of Dragons: Firebreather's Trilogy

The rebels have taken Elyse, Gareth, and Akara-leaving Kiera stranded on the war front. But the Red Watch has a surprise Elyse never saw coming: her father. To secure a team willing to rescue Kiera and Rydian, Elyse makes a choice-joining ranks with the rebels. As they travel through an unforgiving desert and face a group that is anything but welcoming, Elyse struggles to reconnect with her father. Meanwhile, Kiera spends her days in solitude, longing for her mate and friends-until she notices something odd. Guards are stationed outside her door. The castle has been eerily silent. When a chilling decree from the king calls for their execution, Kiera and Rydian flee under the cover of darkness. Their new objective: find the rebels and pray they are on the right side. In this exhilerating second installment of the Firebreather's Trilogy, every second is a fight for survival. Lives hang by a thread, and a cunning death god delights in toying with their fate. As the crew ventures into uncharted territory, experiments with forbidden magic, and flies on the backs of dragons-many dragons-they must uncover their true destinies and unite to bring down the Imperials once and for all.
