The work in question presents the results obtained through an observational survey, with the aim of identifying the motivational factors that drive students to attend the PEIS literacy classroom. It was assumed that motivation is one of the most influential factors in education. For adults, it was possible to see that affection, commitment and solidarity are key factors for learning to take place. It is therefore up to the educator to stimulate, encourage and motivate the student.
