Adventures in the Pasatomic Age 2 -

Jeera is a “walker of two worlds,” burdened by a volatile magic she barely understands and the crushing guilt of a fallen friend. Seeking peace, she and her quick-witted companion Zep, journey to the western mountains to honor their friend’s memory. But in a world where mutated horrors stalk the plains and giants hurl boulders from the peaks, the journey is perhaps far more than they can manage. Allied with Mika, a fierce and stoic warrior, the trio is drawn into a perilous expedition deep into the borderlands. Their prize? A sealed, mythical bunker from the “time before.” Inside lies the forgotten technology of a lost age—and a synthetic being with a deadly directive. As they brave dark tunnels and survive brutal attacks by feral dog-men, Jeera must master her magic to protect the family she has found before the secrets of the ancients bury them all. But fear not, good reader, this world also contains fiercely loyal friends, plenty of jovial hroredun, an encounter with a proud people, lots of discovery, a song, a game, and ice cream.
