When we were young, we grew up listening to little stories from our elders. As we listened to these stories, we would imagine them visually and experience the emotions they evoked. For example, when we read or listen to scary stories, we might unknowingly feel fear. In this way, the moral or message of the stories we hear stays deeply rooted in our minds.
