Abdou Lahad Lo: A Model of Successful Return

This book traces the journey of a Senegalese man born in Baol-more specifically in Touba, 200 km from the capital. After studying at the Manar Al Houda Institute in Louga, he spent a short time in Dakar before attempting to emigrate. He ended up in Italy before settling permanently in Spain. After a long stay in Spain, he decided to return home and contribute to his country's development. In 2012, he founded G.T.R., a guidance and consulting firm, to help his compatriots prepare for their return through a program called "FAEEJ." He advocates for the support and integration of migrants through entrepreneurship and self-employment, the promotion of cultural exchange, research and data collection, and, finally, access to information on existing opportunities in various sectors and localities. All of this is beginning to bear fruit, as the GTR group has just launched a platform and a crowdfunding initiative called FAEEJ, one of whose flagship projects, "Diastravels," is currently underway.
