Abba's Eldest

This devotional was written for the daughter who became strong before she became safe. The one who learned responsibility early. The one who became dependable, emotionally mature and self-sacrificing because survival demanded it. Perhaps you were praised for being helpful, wise or strong. But beneath that strength was exhaustion. You carried burdens that exceeded your age. You became the helper, the peacekeeper, the emotional support system, the responsible one, the second mother and the dependable daughter. And somewhere along the way, you forgot what it felt like to simply be loved without performance. This devotional is an invitation back to daughterhood. Not childishness or irresponsibility.
