Today, we are witnessing a profound loss of economic, social and organizational confidence. Faced with the risk of uncertainty and the obligation to deliver results, Algerian SMEs are obliged to preserve their human resources by adopting modern management methods based on the establishment and development of an invisible social institution known as "trust". The aim of this study is to identify the determining factors of interpersonal trust (the trust that binds an employee to his superior) by conducting semi-directive interviews with managers in Algerian SMEs.
