A Thousand Loves of Leonora: 1

A newly minted anthropology PhD is sent hurtling through time on an adventure she could never have bargained for.Leonora Harper expected graduation day to end with a diploma and a prestigious new job at Stanford-not with one misplaced step sending her more than two thousand years into the past.Stranded in ancient Babylon, Leonora is mistaken for the goddess Ishtar. Correcting that mistake could get her killed, so she accepts the jewels, learns the language, and tries not to alter history. Then she meets Kadan, the king's astronomer.Brilliant, guarded, and dangerously perceptive, Kadan is the first person to question who-or what-Leonora truly is. He could expose her secret. Instead, he becomes the one man she cannot afford to want.Their growing attraction threatens Leonora's precarious place in Babylon, but resisting Kadan may prove even more impossible than finding her way home.Leonora may have studied ancient civilizations, but no textbook could have prepared her for the dangers of ancient Babylon-or for falling in love with a man born more than two thousand years before her. A THOUSAND LOVES OF LEONORA is a closed-door time-travel romance novella series.
