A Tad Too Much Charisma: 3

Newly settled in Boise, Idaho, Thomas Jourdan is still grieving the murder of his friend Dave Parker, pushes forward with a fresh start-opening a new restaurant, and evolving relationships with FBI agent Heather Danes, and partnering with retired FBI agent Max Young. Their first major case involves a hardworking couple whose repurposed-furniture store has been repeatedly targeted by threatening break-ins. Distrustful of the police, the couple turns to Jourdan and Young, whose investigation uncovers a strange conspiracy involving multiple people that escalates into the kidnapping of the couple's child. As the detectives race to uncover who within the family's circle is responsible, will they be able to recover the child in time? Following in the hard-boiled noir style with warmth and realism, A Tad Too Much Charisma challenges Thomas physically and mentally as he confronts rising danger and the limits of his resilience.
