A Quiet Kind Of Breaking

Tamilore Sinclair, Tami, is a dissatisfied, insecure stay-at-home mother and wife living in Johannesburg with her husband Kent and their two children. Dissatisfied with herself and deeply insecure about her appearance, Tami joins a gym where she meets Mac, a fitness enthusiast who agrees to become her personal trainer, and eventually becoming her emotional refuge. When Kent announces his intention to accept a pastoral position in Lesotho, Tami's fears spiral. Her husband's growing closeness with Phakama, a woman on his church team, fuels her insecurity and drives her further from her husband and deeper into her friendship with Mac - until lines are crossed that cannot be uncrossed. A Quiet Kind Of Breaking is a Christian romance set in contemporary Johannesburg, exploring what happens when a fractured marriage, a dangerous friendship, and a crisis of faith collide. And whether love, grace, and hard truth can rebuild what shame and silence have nearly destroyed.
