A Pocket Universe Adventure: The Chapel at Black Pond

At Black Pond, people come looking for relief, revelation, healing, and a way back to themselves. What they find is a chapel, a ceremony space, a community built around transformation-and a threshold where genuine encounter and dangerous hunger can wear almost the same face. As James Carpenter draws the wounded, the faithful, the skeptical, and the spiritually hungry into his orbit, the question is no longer whether something real is happening there. It is. The question is what kind of world is being built around it, who pays the cost, and what survives once the experience ends and ordinary life begins again. But Black Pond is being watched from more than one direction. Some witnesses are human. Some are not. In a world where attention has weight and stories can become structure, every act of witness changes the field. The Chapel at Black Pond is a dark, intelligent, spiritually charged novel about longing, power, intimacy, accountability, and what happens when people enter a room hoping for God and discover that something else is paying attention too.
