This starts with a short story covering the life of my father. It includes snippets collected from a number of conversations with members of his family and my own personal memories. It touches on his illegitimate birthright, and his childhood years growing up in rural Australia as part of his multigenerational Aboriginal family of origin. It includes his migration north as a young adult to create a new life for himself and his family of procreation. It also includes his final battle with bone cancer. The story reflects his life summed up in the words shared at his funeral. Such an loving man tender and kind, what a beautiful memory you left behind. The second section of the book provides a lined blank section for his descendants and others to record their own memories and stories to share and pass on.
