A Christmas Prayer Tree

A Christmas Prayer Tree Come to the Christmas Prayer Tree Christmas has a way of drawing our attention to beautiful things: glowing lights, decorated trees, carefully wrapped gifts, family gatherings, Christmas music, warm homes, and cherished traditions. But in the midst of everything we see at Christmas, there is One we must never overlook: Jesus Christ. Jesus is the heart of Christmas. This book was created around a simple but meaningful idea: a Christmas Prayer Tree. Instead of decorating this tree only with beautiful ornaments, we will spiritually decorate it with Scripture and prayer. For twenty-five days, we will place another ornament upon our Christmas Prayer Tree. Some ornaments will remind us of what we should give God: Adoration. Thankfulness. Faith. Surrender. Others will remind us of what we need from Him: Peace. Hope. Guidance. Protection. Healing. Strength. Wisdom. Still others will turn our prayers toward the people around us: Family. Others. Our nation. Unity. Love. Generosity. By the time we reach Day 25, our tree will contain twenty-five spiritual reminders of God's Word, His promises, and our relationship with Jesus Christ. But there is something even more important. Every ornament must point us back to Jesus. Be blessed. Dr. Dorine Daniels
