In 1988, eight-year-old **Andrew Davis** runs away into the forests of **Kapuskasing, Ontario** after watching a terrifying Halloween double feature of *Invaders from Mars*. Under the northern lights, he witnesses something impossible - a UFO descending from the stars. Moments later, Andrew is abducted by Martians. When he returns home, he expects to be grounded for running away. Instead, he discovers that **ten years have passed** and he hasn't aged a day. His parents are older, his best friends are now adults, and the entire town believes he's crazy. Determined to prove the truth, Andrew reunites with his friends **Glenny** and **Jeremy** and searches for the mysterious visitors.
