A BETTER ME Becoming A Better Version of Yourself! PROGRAM OVERVIEW A BETTER ME, Is a 26 weeks (6) months Domestic Violence Batterer's Intervention Educational Program, was founded by Penny D. Washington also known as Mz. Penny Diva. Mz. Penny's expertise as an Author, Empowerment Life Coach, and the Founder of Diva's Empowerment Resource Center, the program's curriculum, which is shaped by her Mz. Penny's personal journey as a domestic abuse survivor.The program, A BETTER ME, offers therapists, social workers, life coaches and other counselors a new level of sound, psychologically interventions that reach both men and women to use the skills and tools they have been given to change their abusive behavior.Presented in a 26 week psychoeducational format, A BETTER ME, is packed with updated skills, exercises, handouts, worksheets and homework assignments that challenge individuals to examine themselves and develop new tools to manage their relationship issues in a healthier and safer way.
