A baby weymouth is used together with a bradoon. This combination is used in the higher dressage classes. Due to the pump function, there is more movement in the bit. As required, the horse can lift the bit slightly to reduce the pressure on the tongue. The weymouth is a bit with leverage. The longer the shanks the sharper the leverage. The baby weymouth has short shanks and therefore has a milder action than the normal pump weymouth. A weytmouth and bradoon combination requires a double bridle. In addition, this weymouth should always be combined with a chin chain to prevent the bit from slipping. This bit is not suitable for the inexperienced rider. The Inno Sense Flexi Soft bits are made of elastic plastic and are very flexible which makes the bit very friendly.
