The powder and dry food can be moistened to prevent the powder from blowing out the feed bowl. Duration of treatment:The product can be given for a few days to 3 weeks for acute symptoms. For prolonged discomfort, the effect is usually seen within 1 to 3 weeks. The product can be given permanently. A maintenance dosage can be switched to when the symptoms diminish. A maintenance dosage is half of the mentioned dosage. It is recommended to have a stop week after 6 to 8 weeks.
