The bodyprotector meets the official EN 1621-2 standards (and is certified as level 2) to protect the spine of the rider. The neck is slightly deeper than normal and has an oval "V" shape, this way riders can use the Back Protector with a competition jacket over it making it almost invisible. The Back Protector is made of 3 layers, each 6mm thick with ventilation holes. They are glued together in such a way that the shock absorbing material layers can shift.
