Solid safety stirrup from Acavallo. This stirrup is made of aluminium and has a stainless steel sole. The stirrups have a hinged safety mechanism with a small foot stop. The weight of the rider ensures that the stirrups opens in case of a fall, so the foot won't be hanging int he stirrup. The foot stop makes sure the stirrup only opens when it's necessary. As soon as the foot left the stirrup, the stirrups closes easily. The broad stainless steel anti-slip sole with rough profile has extra long holes for the drainage of sand and water. The sole is slightly canted, to keep the heel low. The canted stirrup leather hanging ensures a great positition of the foot for more stability and an improved leg position.
