Flash fiction describes a very short story which should end with a twist, a surprise, perhaps even a shock.Creating one hundred word flash fiction stories is a passion of mine.If my original story begins with a word count over and above the one hundred word limit, I edit, and edit, and edit.The story always sounds better when I've done that.I suppose these stories could also be described as micro stories, flashes.I hope you enjoy them.Oh, and when the story first presents itself to you, please hide the last line with your hand, a piece of paper...whatever.We all need a surprise now and then.Pat Simmons
