Dr. Richard "Dick" Cohen temporarily stepped away from his tenured university professor's position in 1980 to venture into the auto salvage business with a friend. At the same time, they began buying, driving, vintage racing, and later selling Shelby Mustangs, Corvettes, Cobras, and GT40s--including several extremely rare cars--along with '37 Cords, a '63 Galaxie 500 Lightweight, '70 Hemi 'Cudas, Panteras, and three '65 Shelby R-Models found in Lima, Peru.
