This is NOT a data blocker, see PortaPow's other products if that is what you need This is a USB-A male to female adaptor which has the D+, D- and 0V (GND) connected but the 5V disconnected, so power cannot pass through. Useful for specialist applications such as the 3D Printers and Raspberry Pi where providing power results in undesirable effects Note that blocking charge/power will also prevent data transfer for smartphones, tablets and many other devices, so this device will not be useful in those cases.
